Lynne Marie grew up in the music, art and creativity of the 60s. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, adopted as a baby and lived on Long Island for most of her life. As a child she spent her time coloring, drawing, reading and playing with her beloved plastic dinosaurs (which she still has).

Her favorite grade in school was Kindergarten because that's where the magic of putting words and pictures together happens. The first time (and every time) she received the Scholastic Book Club forms in the 1970s she knew she wanted to be a Children's Book Author. In 2011 her dream came true, when her 1st book, Hedgehog Goes to Kindergarten (originally titled School Bus Buddies) was published by Scholastic Book Clubs!

Lynne always had a vivid imagination and a love for fantasy, fairy tales and folklore. She still does! She also has a soft spot for animals, whether real or
make-believe. Her former pets include – a cat named Puss-in-Boots, a
Schnauzer named Heidi, a Chihuahua Terrier named Rootbeer, a Schipperke named Dante and her hedgehogs Nike, Willow, Sirena, Athena and Hamlet.
Nike was the inspired her first book.
More than anything, she loves to travel! Her 1st trip was to Disney World after it opened in 1971. Since then she has been then more than 20 times! She has also traveled to Canada and Nova Scotia, Mexico, Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, France, Greece, Monaco, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Spain, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the Caribbean, including St. Bart’s, St. Martin, Honduras, Belize, Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Jamaica and Haiti. Her favorite Places are the library, the World, and Disney.
Lynne currently lives on a lake in South Florida, which she shares with many feathered and scaly friends, including a Great Blue Heron named Baymax, a Great White Egret named Snow White, four Wood storks named Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo, several anhinga and ibises and a host of
other lizards, turtles and birds. An alligator lives across the street but she
has yet to meet him.
She has two children, Kevin and Kayla, who always provide lots of
inspiration for her stories. She currently works as a writer and a
Travel Agent at Pixie Vacations.
